London Eye Plus River Cruise

Coca-Cola London Eye ticket is valid for one standard admission within 48 hours of issue date.

All children aged 15 years and below must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Please note: Attraction tickets must first be collected from Westminster Pier (SW1A 2JH), Tower Pier (EC3N 4DT) or Greenwich Pier (SE10 9HT). You will not be able to enter the attraction without your tickets!

Sightseeing cruises depart every 40 minutes from piers at Westminster, London Eye, Tower and Greenwich.

    Bad experience. Not recommended Citycruise!! I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I had with your service and staff on 9-10 Apr. 2019. My family and I have visited London and pre-booked LONDON EYE PLUS RIVER CRUISE tickets with you. On 9th April 2019 at around 2.00 PM, we came to your ticket redemption spot at Westminster Pier. We spoke to a staff which I am not certain of her appearance, but for what I remembered she looks young and has light hair with pony tail. I gave her the booking ref printout and asked her to get us the tickets and mentioned that we would go to London eye tomorrow (10 April 2019). She told me that everything was fine and had us go to Row A to wait for the cruise WITHOUT giving us any tickets. That she said many times that “everything is fine” and “please go directly to row A” and “You can go to London Eye tomorrow” made me think that we can use the booking reference paper we had to get entrance, which is true because we went to Row A and the staff at the pier saw our booking ref. document and let us go into the queue line, again, without asking for tickets. On 10th April 2019, around 10.00-11.00 AM we came to London Eye and showed the booking ref to the staff there. They asked us to redeem tickets at Westminster Pier. My sister ran all the way to the pier from London Eye. She spoke to a man, who claimed that he is the manager of City Cruises (Skin head or bald hair) at Westminster Pier, and asked to get London Eye tickets. His manner was not friendly and showed no interest in helping us. He insisted that he could not give us the tickets since they should be received on 9th April, which was already passed. We understand deeply about the condition of tickets, but as mentioned earlier, we did everything right. We came to get our tickets on correct date and did aske the staff many times about getting London Eye tickets. The fault is the staff did not give us the tickets and he let us in the cruise with just that booking reference. Moreover we have sent email to ask City cruise that we might go to city cruise and London eye in the different day, and Citycruise replied us that OK. I also called City Cruise call center and reported the issue for an hour. I believe they thought they had tried their best to help us, but not as best as they can do. They suggested us to buy new tickets at the spot and complain this issue later to this email and see if you can do anything. However, we have planned our whole trip with the strict schedule. This issue consumed over an hour of our schedule. We have pre-booked our lunch at Duck and Waffle, which we will be deducted our credit card if we’re late or now show up. And other plans would be delayed if we buy new tickets and queue up for another round of London Eye. So, we could do nothing but decided to cut off London Eye from our schedule and hurry to our lunch and other attractions we pre-booked as well. Please be noted that we were extremely not pleased. This experience is the worst and not what we signed up for. We really wish to enjoy our times in London. We spent a lot of money on this trip. We did not expect to receive this kind of negligent service from your staff. This was not our mistakes to solved and we missed seeing the view from London Eye, which is like a highlight of coming to London and we already paid for it. I am writing to asked if you can do anything to resolve the issue and give us the compensation for our damages of time and money. Also, I would like to comment you have your staff well trained and have a better service to handle this type of issue. I do hope that you will take our matter seriously and get back to me as soon as possible.
