Whichever month you go in, this is one of the best ways to enjoy an evening in style - cruising down the river Thames with a glass of bubbles in one hand, canapés in the other, listening to live jazz, while London's riverside landmarks glide past and the rest of the world rushes home. There's space to unwind and a fully stocked bar with a variety of drinks (soft and otherwise), including Pimms.
The cruise departs Thursday to Sunday from Westminster Pier. The boat leaves at 18.30 (boarding at 18.15) from Westminster Pier. The boat returns to Westminster Pier by 20.30.

Our evening cruise changes name with the change of seasons reflecting how the changing over of light and night alters the character of the cruise: “Sundowner” in summer and “Riverlights” in winter.
Bit over priced. Was advertised as a more formal event yet had many people turning up in jeans and a hoodie. Turned something romantic intu us feeling over dressed and awkward
great service, delicious canapés and all round lovely cruise
Great cruise, enjoyed this so much
we have little food and drink and they have not a good taste, and there weren't explanations about the buildings and skyline we see in the cruise
The Sundowner Cruise was very beautiful, with the sun going down as we made our way back to Westminster. I would definitely recommend this cruise.
Nice trip, but very difficult to hear what our guide said
A fantastic cruise
Very pleasant experience. Jazz player good .Lovely views of famous sites
The sun shone, the music was brilliant, the fizz flowed and the canapes kept coming! Great atmosphere all round. It was an amazing way for our family to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you so much!
The boat was late but I appreciate that can happen. When the first round of canapes arrived we were the last to be served and there was only 2 left and they did not look too good. The young lady said that she would serve us first next time round. The second time we were served first but there was obviously only enough for one canape per person still. Windows were dirty so visibility poor. It started to rain so everyone from the upper deck ascended below where there was limited space. Music ok. On disembarking a young lady was trying to off load a load of left over canapes which I am sure could have been offered earlier to give everyone a larger choice. We paid about £46 for 2 people which was not good value for money when you can get on average a lunch cruise with a bottle of wine for around £84 for 2 people with excellent service on board. Thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyabe. Have booked another one.
Staff very attentive
The cruise was very good, it was fun maybe a little bit more of canapés
As a trip the vessel was fine.
The musician was fine but having backup canned music to play over wasn't pleasant. The food was unpleasant. I was surprised that because I turned down the champagne I was offered something instead.
A first rate cruise with very attentive and helpful staff. At the risk of stating the obvious, the cruise is somewhat dependent upon the weather and as luck would have it we had a beautifully warm evening.
Enjoyed the cruise but more due to the company I was with than the staff on board
The only slight minus is for the fact that for a sundowner cruise, the sun just wouldn't go down quite that early in july.
nice that they took advantage of a higher than usual tide and went a little further than normal- good for customer relations and further referrals
Friendly staff. Good food and drink. Only downside was the blocked toilets!
i did not like the 2 hour cruise -- we went just a little bit west, not past chelsea, and then spend the rest of hte time in east east london where there was nothing of interest to see. Why not go further west, we could have seen windsor and other spots. instead we spent an hour in industrial zones east. why?
very little food and the musician only played half the cruise.
Everything went well. I had a great birthday celebration with my friends.
Wish there was more food, only one entree tray reached us.
The jazz guy had quite a long break.
Everyone in the party loved the experience. We did this for my parents wedding anniversary
canapes were well presented but i only got to taste 4 as there weren't enough and the waiters had no clue what they were when i asked them what sort of canapés they were.
nice pleasant cruise- enjoyed music
It was good.
Since this was a "Sundowner" cruise it would have been better if it had departed later since this was mid-June. The sun was not down even when we returned to the dock after the cruise. That said, the cruise was very nice along the Thames .
Basic boat but well presented and tidy, nice weather helped, crew did a good job.
Really enjoyed it and it was the correct length of time.
Terrible customer service.
would use again when in London
A bit mean with the canapes. Music didnt start until near the end of the cruise
If more attention to detail had been paid cleaning the boat prior to cruise this would be an excellent rating. Boat also needed some TLC first impressions weren't great compared to others they had.
It was a bit chilly so blankets would have been a nice idea ;-)
It seemed like the cruise was billed as a dinner cruise. It was more of a snack/appetizer cruise. Drinks on entry to the boat and the live music were definitely huge positives. The crew was great and overall had a great experience!
we were directed to the wrong departure point by one of the staff at the pier and completely missed our sundowner cruise. we ended up doing a twenty minute cruise one way up the thames - definitely not worth the 90 pounds it cost. we were offered another cruise in replacement but we had already left london and was about to depart from the uk. that was a nice gesture but of no use to us.
A Sundowner Cruise at the end of May that had no sun. In fact, it rained and London's skies were as grey as could be but we sat on the top deck until we got too cold and then sat downstairs to warm up. The staff were lovely, the canapes were plentiful and we really enjoyed it. So much so, we are thinking of doing one of their dinner cruises next time. Maybe in the sunshine!!
This was not a good time for a cruise - too dark for good pictures and not dark enough for the city lights - I would not advise this time for a river cruise.
Sundowner 2 hour cruise. Vessel was tiny and over crowded. Poor. Other worldwide cities must be laughing!!
A very enjoyable cruise
A perfect way to see the sights, get a bit tipsy & enjoy a live muscian.
I can't recommend this highly enough, loved it.
Apart from Les Mis' it was the highlight of our London break & such good value.
Music too loud so not possible to speak. Rhe musician refused to turn down the music. Canapes good but only 3 per person.i took a group of french people and I was very unhappy. Considering the price I expected better.
Would like round tables instead of long squares
Awesome cruise for my girlfriend's 21st
The let down was that although it was supposed to be back at 20-30 , we actually returned about 20--00 went past the boarding point sat in water near Parliament for approx 5 mins then when back and disembarked about 20-10.
A crusie that shows Tower Bridge on its advertisement should actually go to it on a cruise advertised to tourism. Several people were overheard complaining in out general area that it did not.
This was branded as a jazz cruise but consisted of a bored guy occasionally playing saxophone against a too loud backing track.
There was not enough space for everyone to sit down.
The boat went in the wrong direction. I intended and expected to see Tower Bridge for sundown
At least clean the windows!!! The staff was excellent, and the musician, I feel sorry for them having to work in awful condituons like this...
We got everything promised, music was a bit loud.
Highly recommended to see London from the water. We had fun!!!
Price of drinks are overpriced, canopes consisted of 3 small pieces and all fish. Very disappointing as this was for our wedding anniversary!
This sundowner cruise was actually quite disappointing. My Mum and Dad came up to see us as a belated mothers day gift.
The boat used was tiny and had horrible conference like chairs plonked around the edge of the boat with random tables in front. It was very warm and cramped in. I think we managed to get 2 canopes each as most where fish which we didnt like. So we where hungry, cramped in and boiling hot.
The Jazz performer spent around 45 minutes of the 2 hour cruise eating or drinking. He must have had most of the food that was for the customers! He didnt interact with the crowd at all and look extremely scruffy!
All in all I was very upset having spent my money on four tickets :o(
Hopefully you will take my comments seriously for future events.
1) tidy up the boat and have uniformed decor!
2) employ a better performer who speaks to people and creates a nice atmosphere
3) Control the heating properly with a thermostat or aircon.
4) Ensure you have a greater selection of canapes.
5) Serve a nice taste Processco, maybe Asti. It was terrible.
6) Do not over crowd the boat, use a bigger one if there is too many people booked in. It shouldnt always be about profit.

The canapes were a little lame but that did not affect anything!
