I'm sure the boat use to go to big ben then up to Greenwich and back, which I personally preferred as it made it more of a trip.
A great friendly guide that shared many interesting and entertaining facts about the main sights. We really enjoyed the cruise!
Good view of the different sites.
Enjoyed this very much, lots to see and just the right length of time. Definitely recommend it.
Sat up front on a sunny day and learnt and laughed a lot.
Fantastic captain, knowledgeable, entertaining and very funny!
Great city cruise
The lady that gave us the commentary was very informative. Top marks.
Really enjoyed the cruise the guides were very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Was the start of the family tour of London and the cruise was the perfect start. Would definitely recommend this.
I can't remember the name of the man who was our guide but he was brilliant! He was very interesting, knowlegable and very funny!
It was a great trip with interesting information and awesome views
Loved the commentary
Wonderful, saw so much from the water
Very informative and delivered in friendly way
The female guide was excellent!!
The set up and boarding the boat was ok, a little wait was expected and queuing was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful all round. I would as a general advice think of upgrading some boats as they are a bit uncomfortable for the seating and a but exposed due to boat design. Apart from that the service and commentary was fantastic and it was value for money. I was surprised traveling on the river was so much faster why is it so underused. Should be part of TFL transport as well for getting around. Far better than tube or buses.
Very good service would like to use it again in future and will recommend others to use it too
It was a great day out with the kids, thoroughly enjoyed it, will definately do it again
Our little daughter was over the moon with boat cruise.
very good comentator made it a very interesting and fun experience
Great commentary on board, a great experience
Excellent experience, good commentary. Finding correct departure point at Tower Pier bit confusing
The tour actually lasted well over an hour and we weren't complaining. It was marvellous!
The captain was very entertaining and pointed out the different buildings and points of interest would highly recommend doing this when you visit London
Would like to have longer on the boat
Really great, children and adults alike in our party enjoyed it.
The cruise was arranged for a party of students from Oman studying at summer schools and enjoying a weekend trip to London. Last year and this, the Circular Cruise was the highlight of their London trip - even in competition with the Science and Natural History museums! I accompanied them last year but was otherwise engaged this year but know that they again greatly enjoyed the Cruise. Many thanks.
The cruise was nice, and had great views of the city. However, there was an issue when a some young children at the front of the boat were talking over the tour guide. Although I understand this was upsetting to the tour guide, he handled it incredibly poorly, and made multiple announcements calling out the parents and children. It was painfully awkward for the rest of the cruise participants and I wish he wouldn't have made such a scene.
The audio was a little difficult to hear over the speakers on the boat, so it wasn't always possible to catch what the tour guide was saying. Then again, he could have also given a little more factual description and a tiny bit less cheap jokes -- light-hearted is fine, but at times he came across more like trying to do stand-up than explaining and describing all the interesting stuff (because there's certainly no shortage of that!) we could see on either bank of the Thames. But on the whole, a pleasant and informative tour.
Brilliant tour, guides on board were extremely knowledgable and provided and interesting and humorous trip for all the family. Tickets prices very reasonable also when compared to other companies and attractions in London.
Enjoyed the cruise, good information, staff lovely...but seriously improve your cafe/bar, not even a decent cup of coffee.
Funny commentary, though the vessel was a little on the wobbly side when it came to boarding....
Informative and funny!
every year I also led my friends to travel on the river are all great feel of soil
The tour guide person only started speaking on the return journey. It would have been nicer if he could have talked and told us more about London throughout the cruise.
The commentary provided by one of the crew was most informative and humorous too!
The staff were so friendly and the commentary was both informative and witty.
We had a really nice cruise. Young lady did a very good commentary for us all.
Pleasant people and good commentry
The commentator / guide was very funny which made the experience that much better.
Worth the price
Really good, cheap and would go again!
For the price we paid this was excellent. Cheap and cheerful
Lots of sights and info and funny as well
Very informative tour
We did have a lovely afternoon weather wise which definately helped and with a commentary from one of the crew on the return journey we knew exactly what we were looking at. Can't wait for next year when we want to go the other way to Greenwich.
There was hardly any commentary on our cruise. We sailed from Tower to the brdige before westminster in silence then after the boat turned we had a bit of rushed commentary for about 10mins of the 50 minute tour. Would have been much better to even have a tape recording to listen to as we sailed up and down the river. I have not been to London before so I was disappointed I did not get to hear much about the buildings or history etc.
could spend all day on the boats!
We bought a combination Tower of London and River Cruise ticket, but no one asked to see it on board. As a result, we didn't get the Tower tickets printed, and had to make a trip back to the Pier to get the rest of our tickets. A considerable delay, but the staff were very helpful and kind. Please have your staff take tickets on the boat and print the second attraction tickets in the first place! Thanks.
Very interesting seeing all the London landmarks and having a commentary made it more enjoyable and fun. We'd definitely go again and would recommend it.
The cruise was good and the option to sit inside as well as topside also. The wait to board was long as the vessel was over 1 hr late otherwise it was well worth the money. Hope to go on the dinner cruise in the near future
The commentary was excellent, but could have been a bit longer.
Very interesting and restful.. Hilarious and fascinating commentary, much better than the so-called 'trained' guides.
Very nice n clean boat/ship onboard staff very helpful n friendly
really enjoyed it, it was great fun. thought we'd be travel sick but it was really smooth so we were fine. we could see lots of sights from the boat, and the fella doing the commentary was fun, it was very good overall, we would do another one, a longer one probably, and we would recommend it very much
The tour would have been fine, but as it wasn't fully booked they put people on it who were just going one way. This meant a long delay and having to hear the same commentary twice. It took half an hour longer than planned - not great when you've planned a full day.
Booked as a birthday treat for my daughter, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. Thank-you.
The guide was quite a comedian which made up for the lack of information. Would have been nice to have gone right to the Houses of Parliament.
The cruise was amazing, great to see London from a different perspective. Also, the tour guide was really good and I wouldn't have spotted half of the things he said by myself. It was definitely worth the money
good value and commentry
Great fun informative and entertaining thank you
Really good way to see London.
The actual cruise was fine however I have to say poor due to the 'guide'. No information other than 'that's Big Ben' 'that's London eye' - I could have done a better and more enthusiastic job!
We had a lovely day and the man that sounded like a dj that gave us a guide was excellent thank you
Really surprised that there was no commentary - this was definitely lacking
A really enjoyable trip thank you. Lovely helpful staff kind and informative. Will certainly recommend .
Really good cruise and interesting/amusing commentary.
Although the mike had a few technical issues, it was really good. We had the advantage of having 2 actors doing some Shakepeare as well.
Particularly good because of the Shakespeare special.
I certainly enjoyed Thames circular cruise inside the comfortable warm passenger cabin on a very windy cold sunny day on river Thames.
The duration of the cruise seemed to speed past in the blink of a eye & I will certainly book another longer City Cruise for my next visit to London & have recommended your service to my friends.
Very jovial cruise guide/crew member
Nice route. Expensive coffee.
Great value for money
The cruise was amazing. The weather was also lively so we got to stay upstairs all the way. A short but wonderfull ride. Must also say that the commentary was hillarius and very interesting. We loved it.
Very disappointing boat too small for amount of people, circular cruise- having a laugh, spent most of the 50 mins picking people up at tower and other pier, no commentary and didn't even make it up to Houses of Parliament , will not use again and that was with 50% off voucher , if full price I couldn't repeat it in here
Great, informative cruise with the added bonus of Shakespearean actors!
The guide was interesting and knowledgeable. We and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.
The world’s most comprehensive exhibition about Shakespeare, with swordfighting displays and a tour of his recreated theatre.
