The Globe Exhibition is the world’s largest exhibition about William Shakespeare and his London and uses both modern technology and traditional crafts to tell its story.

Discover the secrets of Elizabethan special effects, from blood and gore to magic tricks and flying on stage, and enjoy regular live demonstrations including sword-fighting.

Take a tour of the Globe Theatre, a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse first built in 1599, where Shakespeare acted and for which he wrote many of his greatest plays.

Exhibition throughout the year: 9.00am – 5.00pm

Globe Theatre Tours: Globe Theatre tours usually commence daily from 9.30am January to December. Last tour times and closures vary throughout the year. These times are a general guide only and times may vary depending on seasonality and special events. Please check the Globe Exhibition & Tour opening times prior to arrival.

The Exhibition & Tour are both closed on 24-25 December 2017.

Globe Exhibition & Tour ticket is valid for single entry use within 72 hours of issue date.

Seniors and students must have a valid ID on the day of their visit. 

All children aged 15 years and below must be accompanied by an adult 18+. 

Please note:  Attraction tickets must first be collected from Westminster Pier (SW1A 2JH), Tower Pier (EC3N 4DT) or Greenwich Pier (SE10 9HT). You will not be able to enter the attraction without your tickets!

Sightseeing cruises depart every 40 minutes from piers at Westminster, London Eye, Tower and Greenwich.
